  Props:   

 My group will be using a backpack, piece of paper and our product (Paper Mate pens). We will also be using a different type of pen (not the one we are advertising) to contrast to the Paper Mate pen.  Since we will be making our commercial about a brand of pen we will not need to have a lot of props. 

Costumes:

 My groupmates and I will all be in the commercial (be actors). Since this commercial is about pens (usually people are wearing normal clothes) we will just be wearing regular/normal/street clothes. If our filming takes place between multiple days we will make sure to be wearing the same things- so not to have a confused audience/have it make sense. 

Schedule:  

On 9/23/21: Our group will research any essential things for this project/commercial. The planning for things such as a backup plan, set/location, costumes, scheduling and the props needed will also be finished. 

By 9/29/21: We will make sure the storyboard for this commercial is completed. My group and I will also make sure that the commercial is the right time length (30 seconds).  

On 10/1/2021 and 10/5/2021: My group will film our commercial and write a blog entry to document how it went/how the finished product is coming along. 

On 10/7/2021 and 10/11/2021: My groupmates and I will edit our commercial and than make sure everything is good/finish and turn in this commercial projects final result for our group. 

Location List: 

We will not need a lot of locations to film this commercial. We actually only really need one. We need a empty room/empty and/or a quiet classroom. The actor/actors will need a table/hard surface to write on. After this (in the commercial) we show what the actor is writing (using an over-the-shoulder shot). We will show the actor writing with our product (the Paper Mates pen) and than another pen (not the pen we our advertising) The random pen will not work/work as well as the Paper Mate pen. This commercial will show how effective the Paper Mate pen is compared to other pens.  

Backup Plan: 

If we cannot find a classroom/room that is not occupied than we will record near the cafeteria by the blue benches. We will still be able to film as we will be filming in class meaning no one else will be around and the actor/actors can use the benches to write on.

Genre Research: Cinderella The Amazon Original

   Hello, today My group and I are researching Fantasy Movies so we have a better idea of what our opening sequence will look like. The first movie we are researching is Cinderella, made by Amazon.  The common sounds that I found in cinderella, was dialogue, and diegetic sound, along with singing. I did notice that in most fantasy moves it opens with some kind of narration, like a storybook. In this movie it did it as well, it also broke into sound and dance within the first 15 to 25 seconds in.  One of the common camera angles was a bird's eye view, so the audience could see the different movements the actors were doing as they danced. Another common camera angle was the medium shot, this was often used if the character was sitting, or if the character was eating, basically something that didn't require that much movement.
