Starting to edit

 Today I started to edit my final project. Since one of my teammates had already put the scenes together, I went ahead and started to shorten some of the scenes. This was because some of the shots show parts that are unnecessary. Such as stopping running and some shots have my group and I breaking character towards the end. Another reason I cut out some parts of shots is the time. Without cutting these parts the final video would have been over two minutes. After I had cut out all the parts of the shots that were not necessary, I started to add the titles. I first had to find the list that had all the names of the titles. Since, I did not have it with me one of my teammates sent me a picture of it. Before I put any titles, I also confirmed that all the titles on the list were up to date and the ones my group wanted to use. This is because my group and I had switched some of the title names. And I just wanted to make sure that the list that I had was up to date. After this I made sure that there wasn't a specific font that I had to use. Since there wasn't, I started to add the titles. I started by putting the name of the studio on the first shot. Which is of me running. I proceeded to put all the other titles on their respective shots/scenes. After I finished doing this, I went back and made sure I spelled everything correctly and that all of the titles were included in the final. I than started to play with the color of the titles. I kept most of the titles black, however I did make some of them white. However, I might change all of them to black or white. Instead of having the titles being both.

 1.  How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? There are four titles. The titles are the movie name, and the companies that co-produced the movie. 2.What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel?)  The images are very colorful and change with each new title that is presented on the screen. Genre Research: Cinderella The Amazon Original

   Hello, today My group and I are researching Fantasy Movies so we have a better idea of what our opening sequence will look like. The first movie we are researching is Cinderella, made by Amazon.  The common sounds that I found in cinderella, was dialogue, and diegetic sound, along with singing. I did notice that in most fantasy moves it opens with some kind of narration, like a storybook. In this movie it did it as well, it also broke into sound and dance within the first 15 to 25 seconds in.  One of the common camera angles was a bird's eye view, so the audience could see the different movements the actors were doing as they danced. Another common camera angle was the medium shot, this was often used if the character was sitting, or if the character was eating, basically something that didn't require that much movement.   Props:     My group will be using a backpack, piece of paper and our product (Paper Mate pens). We will also be using a different type of pen (not the one we are advertising) to contrast to the Paper Mate pen.  Since we will be making our commercial about a brand of pen we will not need to have a lot of props.  Costumes:  My groupmates and I will all be in the commercial (be actors). Since this commercial is about pens (usually people are wearing normal clothes) we will just be wearing regular/normal/street clothes. If our filming takes place between multiple days we will make sure to be wearing the same things- so not to have a confused audience/have it make sense.  Schedule:   On 9/23/21: Our group will research any essential things for this project/commercial.
