 My group decided to do a Paper Mate commercial. Because of the research we did our audience will be seeing the product (Paper Mate pens) being used to write by the actors/people in the commercial. 

  • The music we will be using will be cheerful sounding to keep the audience interested/engaged in the commercial. 
  • The actors/people in the commercial will be wearing regular/street clothes that would be worn on a normal/regular day. 
  • In the actual commercial the actors will be writing and/or drawing to show what the pens are used for and the quality of them. 
  • We will not need a lot of props. The props we will use for this commercial is paper Mate pens, a regular (other pen that is not the same brand as the one being advertised) pen, a backpack, and a sheet of paper.  
   


Conventions and Codes: 

1. All of these types of commercials zoom in on the words that the actor/person in the commercial is writing. 

2. After seeing/watching a lot of these commercials we saw/realized that the vast majority of them zoom in with the camera so that the brand name is visible long enough for the audience/viewer to be able to read it. 

3.  All of these types of commercials edit words into the commercial to show the pros of buying that particular product.
