music video storyboard

 Scene 1: The first scene will be an introduction to two of the main characters by showing a close-up shot of them walking on/onto a sidewalk. 


Scene 2: The second scene will show the first character fully and cut to a flashback to their past and show how they were treated poorly by classmates for not being the best at sports. 


Scene 3: The third scene in our storyboard shows the second character sitting on a bench with her Bible. 


Scene 4: This scene will be a close-up of the Bible to clarify to the audience that it is the Bible to avoid confusion regarding the specificity of what the book is. 


Scene 5: This scene will be a flashback/cut to the backstory for the second character on how they were mistreated for their beliefs. 


Scene 6: This scene will introduce the third main character in our music video by showing her foot and panning up to show what she looks like. 


Scene 7: This scene, which will be a flashback, will have a cut-shot to the third character's backstory of how they were verbally made fun of for being super smart/a nerd. 


Scene 8: The eighth scene on our storyboard shows the third main character picking up the Bible for the second main character. This forms a friendship/they become friends.  


Scene 9: The second and third character help out the first character, making the others come along as new friends. 


Scene 10: This scene will be a close-up shot of all three of the main characters being content with being friends/being themselves. 


Scene 11: The eleventh scene show the three main characters having fun at a playground.  


Scene 12: This scene shows how the day is ending and shows all of the main characters backs as they walk away together.

Starting editing commercial

 Today me and my group started editing the commercial. The first thing that had to be done was to get the clips off of one of my groupmates phones and put them all together. I double checked that all of the clips were there. I also made sure they were in the right order. There was a clip that ended up not being used as the pen looks like its about to fall out of my hand. I also made sure we filmed in the right setting/mode. After I had made sure that the clips were in the order at they needed to be in me and my groupmates decided what background music to use. As a group it was decided that the music used would have no words. Music with words would be too distracting to the audience.  They might only focus on the music and not the commercial. For the genre of music it was decided that the music would have to be bubbly/fun sounding. Music that sounded sad would not have fitted as well.  Hi, I'm Madelyn. I enjoy doing a lot of different things. Some of those things are baking, playing the clarinet, swimming, learning new things and exploring new places/traveling. I also like being active and have done a bunch of sports such as ballet, gymnastics and Taekwondo. I did ballet for 2 years and Taekwondo for almost 5. I also love to read and open a book whenever I can. I especially like reading historical fiction and read many Magic Treehouse books when I was younger. I try to be organized because when I am not I learned that I tend to lose things or forget about important events and/or dates.  I love animals and plan to become a veterinarian when I grow up. I am very interested/passionate about the planet/saving it. I often do things such as beach cleanups. Commercial filming

 Today was our first day filming. We filmed at the picnic tables outside of the cafeteria. We got set up to film and than realized we forgot to bring one of our props with us(blank piece of paper/printer paper). Because of this we had to go back to the classroom to get it. After we got the forgotten prop we went back to ore filming location and set everything up again. We started filming our first scene of our commercial (first scene that was filmed). I was the actor/person being filmed.  Tasmia and Kennedy filmed and acted as directors. For this scene we did have some bloopers and had to film several takes before we got the one we wanted to use (the final take). After we had finished filming the first scene we went to the next scene on our storyboard. We had a lot of takes that we didn't use for various reasons.
