 Scene 1: The first scene will be an introduction to two of the main characters by showing a close-up shot of them walking on/onto a sidewalk. 


Scene 2: The second scene will show the first character fully and cut to a flashback to their past and show how they were treated poorly by classmates for not being the best at sports. 


Scene 3: The third scene in our storyboard shows the second character sitting on a bench with her Bible. 


Scene 4: This scene will be a close-up of the Bible to clarify to the audience that it is the Bible to avoid confusion regarding the specificity of what the book is. 


Scene 5: This scene will be a flashback/cut to the backstory for the second character on how they were mistreated for their beliefs. 


Scene 6: This scene will introduce the third main character in our music video by showing her foot and panning up to show what she looks like. 


Scene 7: This scene, which will be a flashback, will have a cut-shot to the third character's backstory of how they were verbally made fun of for being super smart/a nerd. 


Scene 8: The eighth scene on our storyboard shows the third main character picking up the Bible for the second main character. This forms a friendship/they become friends.  


Scene 9: The second and third character help out the first character, making the others come along as new friends. 


Scene 10: This scene will be a close-up shot of all three of the main characters being content with being friends/being themselves. 


Scene 11: The eleventh scene show the three main characters having fun at a playground.  


Scene 12: This scene shows how the day is ending and shows all of the main characters backs as they walk away together.

 1.  How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? There are four titles. The titles are the movie name, and the companies that co-produced the movie. 2.What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel?)  The images are very colorful and change with each new title that is presented on the screen. This makes me feel happy and excited to see the rest of the movie/film. 3. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? (Can you tell what genre the film is?) Although it is a little hard to see what the genre is, the movie still uses some symbolic codes that correspond with the genre. Such as, using bright colors and upbeat music. Genre Research: Cinderella The Amazon Original

   Hello, today My group and I are researching Fantasy Movies so we have a better idea of what our opening sequence will look like. The first movie we are researching is Cinderella, made by Amazon.  The common sounds that I found in cinderella, was dialogue, and diegetic sound, along with singing. I did notice that in most fantasy moves it opens with some kind of narration, like a storybook. In this movie it did it as well, it also broke into sound and dance within the first 15 to 25 seconds in.  One of the common camera angles was a bird's eye view, so the audience could see the different movements the actors were doing as they danced. Another common camera angle was the medium shot, this was often used if the character was sitting, or if the character was eating, basically something that didn't require that much movement.   Props:     My group will be using a backpack, piece of paper and our product (Paper Mate pens). We will also be using a different type of pen (not the one we are advertising) to contrast to the Paper Mate pen.  Since we will be making our commercial about a brand of pen we will not need to have a lot of props.  Costumes:  My groupmates and I will all be in the commercial (be actors). Since this commercial is about pens (usually people are wearing normal clothes) we will just be wearing regular/normal/street clothes. If our filming takes place between multiple days we will make sure to be wearing the same things- so not to have a confused audience/have it make sense.  Schedule:   On 9/23/21: Our group will research any essential things for this project/commercial.
