Music video



  


 The music video was the second project that my group and I did. This was the first music video that I have ever created. This time I got to learn about filming and editing more than I did when my group and I did the commercial. The filming process was longer than I thought it would be initially. However, my group managed to film everything that day. During the filming and editing my skills greatly improved. Although I still have room for improvement. During filming (since I was able to film this time) my hands were not as shaky, and I also got better at utilizing props. I also did a lot more editing than last time. I learned how to add text into the screen. I also got better at putting clips together and cutting parts out of a particular scene and not making it look messy.

Title Design Research: Crazy Rich Asians

 1.  How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? There are four titles. The titles are the movie name, and the companies that co-produced the movie. 2.What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel?)  The images are very colorful and change with each new title that is presented on the screen. This makes me feel happy and excited to see the rest of the movie/film. 3. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? (Can you tell what genre the film is?) Although it is a little hard to see what the genre is, the movie still uses some symbolic codes that correspond with the genre. Such as, using bright colors and upbeat music.   1.How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones?   There are 18 titles. They are the actors, writer, director, producer, executive producers, co-producer, director of photography, production designer, costume designer, editor, composer/person who did music, music co-producer, music supervisor, choreographers, visual effects, visual effects supervisor, make-up and hair designer and the caster. 2. What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel?)  The beginning images seem mysterious as someone's figure is being shown in shadows. This made me curious as I did not know what was going to happen next. However, as the intro keeps going it becomes a little overwhelming. As a lot of people are talking over each other in different languages and the titles go by faster.
