Schedule: Available to Film March 18th to March 28th 

02/18/22: We did the necessary research for our movie 

02/23/22: We wrote the script

02/24/22: We will have the planning done in regard to props, costumes, scheduling, location list, and backup plans.

02/25/22: We planned our title design 

03/4/22: The storyboard needed for this movie will be done to make sure it lasts

 3/18/22 to 3/28/22: we will film the movie. 

 On 3/29/22 we will begin to edit the movie 



Back-Up Plan: In case the library isn’t available for filming, we decided to film at Madelyn’s house as our backup plan.


Health and safety:

Since there will be a lot of running in the movie. We will make sure there is a first aid kit on site. There will also be grown-ups on-site to make sure we are safe and don't hurt ourselves.

 1.  How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? There are four titles. The titles are the movie name, and the companies that co-produced the movie. 2.What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel?)  The images are very colorful and change with each new title that is presented on the screen. This makes me feel happy and excited to see the rest of the movie/film. 3. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? (Can you tell what genre the film is?) Although it is a little hard to see what the genre is, the movie still uses some symbolic codes that correspond with the genre. Such as, using bright colors and upbeat music. Genre Research: Cinderella The Amazon Original

   Hello, today My group and I are researching Fantasy Movies so we have a better idea of what our opening sequence will look like. The first movie we are researching is Cinderella, made by Amazon.  The common sounds that I found in cinderella, was dialogue, and diegetic sound, along with singing. I did notice that in most fantasy moves it opens with some kind of narration, like a storybook. In this movie it did it as well, it also broke into sound and dance within the first 15 to 25 seconds in.  One of the common camera angles was a bird's eye view, so the audience could see the different movements the actors were doing as they danced. Another common camera angle was the medium shot, this was often used if the character was sitting, or if the character was eating, basically something that didn't require that much movement.   Props:     My group will be using a backpack, piece of paper and our product (Paper Mate pens). We will also be using a different type of pen (not the one we are advertising) to contrast to the Paper Mate pen.  Since we will be making our commercial about a brand of pen we will not need to have a lot of props.  Costumes:  My groupmates and I will all be in the commercial (be actors). Since this commercial is about pens (usually people are wearing normal clothes) we will just be wearing regular/normal/street clothes. If our filming takes place between multiple days we will make sure to be wearing the same things- so not to have a confused audience/have it make sense.  Schedule:   On 9/23/21: Our group will research any essential things for this project/commercial.
