filming something unexpectedly

 Today I realized that some of the footage from when I had filmed wasn't the best. Because of this I decided to refilm. On one shot were I'm running I was running a little bit slow. So that it was more of an awkward jog than actually running. However, before I went out and reshot something I wanted my group's opinion on it. They both agreed with my decision and wished me luck. Since this was spontaneous and not planned, I did not ask Tasmia or Kennedy to reshoot with me today. Instead, I asked my brother for help. At the park it took a couple takes as my brother's hand was blocking part of the camera to get a shot of me running that I was satisfied with. After this I wanted to refilm the very last shot of my close up. This was due to the fact that the camera was a little shaky in the original that my group and I were going to use. I ruined a few takes because I couldn't keep a straight face for long enough. Eventually though I got a shot that I was happy with. I than relooked over all of the footage of me to be super sure that everything was ok to be put into the final product. As I was doing this, I saw something that I had missed earlier. In the closeup shot of the ball with my group and I's names on it you can see my teammates finger covering part of the shot towards the ending. It was noticeable if you happened to look at the top left corner of the shot.   It was a little tricky getting the angles right. Something that also messed up some takes was that my camera would randomly zoom in on things. This made the overall shot look weird.

Genre Research: Cinderella The Amazon Original

   Hello, today My group and I are researching Fantasy Movies so we have a better idea of what our opening sequence will look like. The first movie we are researching is Cinderella, made by Amazon.  The common sounds that I found in cinderella, was dialogue, and diegetic sound, along with singing. I did notice that in most fantasy moves it opens with some kind of narration, like a storybook. In this movie it did it as well, it also broke into sound and dance within the first 15 to 25 seconds in.  One of the common camera angles was a bird's eye view, so the audience could see the different movements the actors were doing as they danced. Another common camera angle was the medium shot, this was often used if the character was sitting, or if the character was eating, basically something that didn't require that much movement.   Props:     My group will be using a backpack, piece of paper and our product (Paper Mate pens). We will also be using a different type of pen (not the one we are advertising) to contrast to the Paper Mate pen.  Since we will be making our commercial about a brand of pen we will not need to have a lot of props.  Costumes:  My groupmates and I will all be in the commercial (be actors). Since this commercial is about pens (usually people are wearing normal clothes) we will just be wearing regular/normal/street clothes. If our filming takes place between multiple days we will make sure to be wearing the same things- so not to have a confused audience/have it make sense.  Schedule:   On 9/23/21: Our group will research any essential things for this project/commercial.
