Getting props

 Today I decided to get the necessary props for my parts in the intro organized
.  The first thing that I tried to do was to get the clothes/costume that I was going to be wearing. Since I wanted to make sure that the costume, I was putting together was appropriate I asked my teammates to help. The costume needed to be street clothes and nothing fancy. This meant that I did not have to buy anything. I decided to wear jeans. I also decided to wear a T-shirt that was solid in color with no design. This was to make sure the audience would not be distracted by something on the shirt that may catch their eye. I also decided to wear a jacket to add to help add to the mysterious feeling of the intro. However, I decided to not zip it up as I would be running and would probably get hot. The next thing I had to do was find an object that would be suitable to use in the intro. I decided to use something round. However, I didn't know what specifically to use. At first, I was going to use a basketball or soccer ball. These would however be too big to use. I then found a stress ball. However, there were a lot of cons of using it. Such as it being super small. The color was also a problem. As it was bright yellow and had a smiley face on it. So, I decided to use an old tennis ball that I found in my room.

 1.  How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? There are four titles. The titles are the movie name, and the companies that co-produced the movie. 2.What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel?)  The images are very colorful and change with each new title that is presented on the screen. Genre Research: Cinderella The Amazon Original

   Hello, today My group and I are researching Fantasy Movies so we have a better idea of what our opening sequence will look like. The first movie we are researching is Cinderella, made by Amazon.  The common sounds that I found in cinderella, was dialogue, and diegetic sound, along with singing. I did notice that in most fantasy moves it opens with some kind of narration, like a storybook. In this movie it did it as well, it also broke into sound and dance within the first 15 to 25 seconds in.  One of the common camera angles was a bird's eye view, so the audience could see the different movements the actors were doing as they danced. Another common camera angle was the medium shot, this was often used if the character was sitting, or if the character was eating, basically something that didn't require that much movement.   Props:     My group will be using a backpack, piece of paper and our product (Paper Mate pens). We will also be using a different type of pen (not the one we are advertising) to contrast to the Paper Mate pen.  Since we will be making our commercial about a brand of pen we will not need to have a lot of props.  Costumes:  My groupmates and I will all be in the commercial (be actors). Since this commercial is about pens (usually people are wearing normal clothes) we will just be wearing regular/normal/street clothes. If our filming takes place between multiple days we will make sure to be wearing the same things- so not to have a confused audience/have it make sense.  Schedule:   On 9/23/21: Our group will research any essential things for this project/commercial.
