final task/intro video

 This is the intro video that my group and I have been working on for the past couple of months. Hope you enjoy watching it. This was the first time I had attempted to do an intro for a movie. This was a cool experience, even though some parts were hard. Overall, I had fun working with my groupmates (Tasmia and Kennedy) again. I learned more about the editing process and how to film certain angels working on this project. The editing arguably took the longest and is what I learned the most about. I learned about a number of things while editing and had fun trying out different things. The editing process was harder than on the music video and challenged my skillset greater. This intro truly taught me about how much work and dedication goes into making films.

Getting props

 Today I decided to get the necessary props for my parts in the intro organized .  The first thing that I tried to do was to get the clothes/costume that I was going to be wearing. Since I wanted to make sure that the costume, I was putting together was appropriate I asked my teammates to help. The costume needed to be street clothes and nothing fancy. This meant that I did not have to buy anything. I decided to wear jeans. I also decided to wear a T-shirt that was solid in color with no design. This was to make sure the audience would not be distracted by something on the shirt that may catch their eye. I also decided to wear a jacket to add to help add to the mysterious feeling of the intro. However, I decided to not zip it up as I would be running and would probably get hot. Genre Research: A Wrinkle in Time

       To better understand the genre of fantasy as a whole my group and I are researching certain movies that fall under the fantasy genre. By doing this we hope to be able to better understand what to do for our intro/final.       One common camera angle used was a close-up. This is used numerous times to show people's faces. This is to show the emotions on the characters faces and for the audience to see their faces more clearly. Another camera angle used commonly is an establishing shot. This is used to show the audience where the scene is taking place.        Diegetic  and non-diegetic sound are both used a lot in this movie. Diegetic sound is used mainly for dialogue and to provide any background noise such as birds chirping. Non-diegetic sound is mainly used for the music over a shot.
