Change of plans

 Today did not go as I had planned it would. My group and I had planned to film/start filming today at a local park. However, there were a few obstacles that got in the way of that. One was miscommunication. We had some trouble with the time that my group and I were supposed to get to the park. This resulted in some time lost. However, it did not really matter as my group, and I did not end up filming today. Not only was communication (or a lack of) a problem but the weather was also not the best. The beginning of the day was nice and sunny. However, towards the afternoon/time I was going to film with my group it started to get cloudy. This would not have been a big problem except that it also started to get cold and windy. On top of this, it started to rain. Since the rain was heavy, I lost contact with one of my groupmates as she had lost power.  Because of these problems my group and I decided that filming today was not a good choice. I suggested a new date to film, and it was decided that that was the new date to plan of filming. This took a while as my groupmates, and I have very busy schedules. However, my group and I were able to come to a conclusion. Since I did not want to do nothing, I decided to see what royalty free music was out there. At first, I had trouble finding music that was actually royalty free. I eventually found websites that I liked to use and found music in the appropriate genre.

 1.  How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? There are four titles. The titles are the movie name, and the companies that co-produced the movie. 2.What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel?)  The images are very colorful and change with each new title that is presented on the screen. Genre Research: Cinderella The Amazon Original

   Hello, today My group and I are researching Fantasy Movies so we have a better idea of what our opening sequence will look like. The first movie we are researching is Cinderella, made by Amazon.  The common sounds that I found in cinderella, was dialogue, and diegetic sound, along with singing. I did notice that in most fantasy moves it opens with some kind of narration, like a storybook. In this movie it did it as well, it also broke into sound and dance within the first 15 to 25 seconds in.  One of the common camera angles was a bird's eye view, so the audience could see the different movements the actors were doing as they danced. Another common camera angle was the medium shot, this was often used if the character was sitting, or if the character was eating, basically something that didn't require that much movement.   Props:     My group will be using a backpack, piece of paper and our product (Paper Mate pens). We will also be using a different type of pen (not the one we are advertising) to contrast to the Paper Mate pen.  Since we will be making our commercial about a brand of pen we will not need to have a lot of props.  Costumes:  My groupmates and I will all be in the commercial (be actors). Since this commercial is about pens (usually people are wearing normal clothes) we will just be wearing regular/normal/street clothes. If our filming takes place between multiple days we will make sure to be wearing the same things- so not to have a confused audience/have it make sense.  Schedule:   On 9/23/21: Our group will research any essential things for this project/commercial.
